During Lent, 2011, Lucille Turfrey travelled with two friends to Central Australia. Her collation of the photographs taken during the journey inspired her to relate redemption's story pictorially and share the blessings of what was a sacred journey - a journey made possible by the grace of God.
Isaiah 35 was selected as a focal point for The Sacred Journey, as its message is integral to the Bible's Gospel Story of Redemption, Isaiah the prophet-poet, understands the desert experience and knows where to find refreshing, renewing pools, and springs in the desert.
