The 2011 “Thought Matters” conference explored the nature of Christian salvation and its implications for social justice in our world today. The papers of the conference, contained within this journal, challenge Salvationists around the world to think about how we work out our theology in the acts of devotion and service we perform each day. Our understanding of the nature of salvation calls us to respond to the significant issues of injustice and to engage in this world which belongs to God.
