The Salvation Army has made a habit of discovering, recruiting and developing remarkable people. Rather, God has sent into its ranks the kind of people who were needed to do his work through this movement.
"Heroes of the Faith" (published in 2004) retold the sotries of 12 pioneer leaders of the Army. Most came from its early years. this book is a sequel. It tells of some more recent 'Heroes'. They do not consider themselves heroic but as you read their stories you can catch a glimpse of the passion and commitment that marked their lives.
