Ian Begley was born in India and grew up in China.
Mary Castel was born in Greenwich, England.
They met in London, married in Australia, and trained as Salvation Army officers in Melbourne.
They lived, worked, and raised a family in Australia, British Guyana, Jamaica, The Bahamas
and Trinidad & Tobago.
In 'retirement' Ian & Mary worked in Hong Kong
and Singapore and, over many years, enjoyed holidays, cruises and adventures
in many other countries.
Their lives have certainly been lived 'East & West of Greenwich'.
